The NFL just released the 2022-2023 schedule and there are plenty of primetime games that will make your mouth water. Here are my top five games that I have circled for the primetime schedule.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Dallas Cowboys Week 1
Hey look, the Cowboys open up the year for SNF again! An almost yearly tradition now for the Cowboys, but for those who are tired of seeing the star primetime week one just know that the game will deliver. When Cowboys have primetime games they rarely disappoint for putting on a tight game, and for those haters the boys will most likely lose in heartbreaking fashion .We’ll also get some answers to a few burning questions
How will the Bucs look without Bruce Arians?
Is Brady going to prove that he deserves to come back another year after retiring? (yes)
What is the Cowboys offense going to look like sans Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson?
4. New England Patriots @ Las Vegas Raiders week 15
Josh McDaniels v Bill Belichick what more do you need to know? McDaniels won 6 super bowls on the Patriots staff, including 3 as offensive coordinator. Many BB assistants have a terrible record against their former master. Meaning McDaniels has to coach his best game. Expect high drama and creative play calling here.
3. KC Chiefs @ Denver Broncos week 14
Is this the year Denver finally beats big brother? The Chiefs have beaten Denver a whopping 12 times in a row. Looking at that number you could say that the Broncos traded for Wilson just to beat the Chiefs. Depending on how much Wilson meshes with Denver’s offense this game could be a helluva shootout
2. LA Rams @ LA Chargers (Battle for LA) week 17
Depending on the playoff seeding this could be the game of the year. The Chargers will no doubt be vying for the AFC West crown, and the Rams will most likely be trying to secure the 1 seed in week 17. Expect points, points, and more points in this one. Both LA teams are going to put on a show for their city.
1. Buffalo Bills @ LA Rams NFL season opener
NFL 2022 Kickoff will absolutely deliver this year. This matchup could have been the Super Bowl last year, and could reasonably be the Super Bowl preview for this year. Expect two really competitive teams to start the season off right.
