Drew Brees And Tom Brady Share An All-Time Cool Post Game Moment

Tom Brady and Drew Brees, two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever grace the NFL, shared an all-time cool moment following Sunday’s divisional round matchup.

If this video doesn’t hit you in the feels, are you really a football fan?

Could you imagine being Drew Brees’s son? Just casually catching a fade in the endzone from THE Tom Brady as if it’s a regular Sunday activity? That’s the dream.

Brees staying after home games to throw to his kids is not a new concept, he has been doing it for quite some time now, but this time felt different.

You could clearly see Brees was going through an array of emotions after the game, could this have been the last time the Hall of Fame bound QB played in the SuperDome? Only time will tell, but last night’s events give me reason to believe he is leaning towards retirement.

Brady could have easily stayed back to celebrate with his team after the 30-20 win on the road, but he knows how much this means. Only 32 people in the world can say they are a starting quarterback in the NFL, and these two understand the trials and tribulations that come with it better than anyone.

Game recognizes game, and these guys have had two of the most iconic careers in NFL History over the last couple decades. It’s hard to process that this might have been the last time we see Drew Brees in action. He has been an NFL quarterback for as long as I’ve been alive and the league won’t be the same without him.

To show how good these guys really are, let’s take a look at the numbers:

  • Brees (98.7) and Brady (97.3) have two of the top-10 QBRs of all time

  • Brees ranks 1st in all-time NFL passing yards (80,358)

  • Brees ranks 2nd in all-time passing touchdowns (571)

  • Brady is 2nd in all-time passing yards (79,204)

  • Brady is 1st in all-time passing touchdowns (581)

You can hate Brady all you want for “deflategate” and what not, but you can’t deny greatness.

Plus, how can you hate a guy that’s active in the meme community on twitter (as weird as that sounds)?

This is an all-timer from the GOAT himself.

As things stand, Brees still has one year remaining on his contract. Even if he decides to retire this year, he has a job lined up with NBC sports to commentate from the booth.
