Mid West:

Kansas Is Fucking Good!

The Jayhawks draw an excellent path to the elite eight. All I see is double digits wins until they meet the bottom half of the bracket.

Iowa on Letdown watch.

Everyone and their brother will be on Iowa coming off the Big 10 Tournament win on Sunday. Iowa has been an up and down team all year, and even when it's going well, they struggle defensively. Watch out for an early exit. Do not let these overrated Big Ten teams ruin your bracket.

South Dakota St Vs Providence

This proves the asshole tendencies of this wanna-be committee. Both these teams have been incredible stories all year. South Dakota St. dominated a very underrated Summit League and probably deserved a higher seed, and Providence against all odds won the Big East regular season. This game will be among the most competitive first-round matchups. It just sucks one of these teams will be going home after round one.

No Coach, No Problem For LSU

This is going to go one of two ways

1) The players shut it down and lose to an average Iowa St. team in round one.

2) The players band together and go on a “fuck you tour” and make a little run into the second weekend

I think it may be the second option. Watch out for the Tigers.

Colgate Upsets Wisco!

Colgate nearly pulled it off last year against a solid Arkansas team. If Johnny Davis isn't a hundred percent, this team is susceptible to an upset. Gimme the Raiders!

Auburn Flying Under The Radar

Many people forget Auburn was number one in the country for a good chunk of the year. They have the best pure scorer in the country in Jabari Smith. Watch out for Auburn and that lethal offence.

South:

Arizona has all the tools, but do they have the toolbox?

Arizona has arguably the most talent in the field. But history tells us they will get bounced unexpectedly early. They draw a challenging path with TCU/Seton Hall in the second round, then Houston/Illinois in the sweet sixteen. I would love to see them go on a run, but the top half of this region is full of land mines. With all that said, they do have all the tools but do they have the toolbox?

Both these teams are battle-tested, and I think the winner of this dog fight will scare the shit out of Arizona.

Chattanooga Upsets Illinois.

Chattanooga is legit and can bang inside with Kofi. This is a terrible draw for Illinois. The spread is sitting at Illinois -8.

Tennessee Is For Real!

The Vols are coming off the SEC tournament win on the weekend. I can see them riding this momentum in the Final Four.

Michigan Is The Biggest Wildcard.

Michigan is the only team in the field with the talent to make the elite eight, but will probably get bounced in the first round. If Hunter Dickerson can play a little defence and take over on the offensive end, they could wrack some brackets.

Sister Jean is Dancing!

Loyola is back and brings in a solid team. They are a fun team, and I think they roll Ohio St. in round one then scare Nova in the second round.

Nova Flying Under The Radar

Villanova always seems to always come in the dance through the back door, and nobody notices until they are sitting in the elite eight. Veteran guard play and elite coaching wins in March, and Wildcats own both of those traits.

West:

Gonzaga Doesn't Make the Elite Eight

The Zags have not played any second-weekend calibre teams since December. I think they are overrated, and they can be had by the likes of Uconn or Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen.

Bama Comes Alive

When Bama is hot, they can beat anyone in the country. Nobody is talking about the Tide going into the tournament, so they should be loose. I think they shoot the lights out of the ball into the second weekend.

Techs Offence Won't Get It Done.

The Red Raiders have an elite defence, but their offence is dog shit at times. If they go through one of their spells where they don't score for five-plus minutes, they will get beat by a superior offence.

Davidson Beats Izzo

The Big 10 is overseeded all over this bracket. Michigan St. being a seven seed is a joke. Davidson is a solid squad, and Michigan St. better not look ahead to Duke, or they will get run out of the gym.

The Bracket Will Break for Duke

This region will be chaos, and somehow Duke is going to dodge every tough matchup. Coach K will have a friendly whistle, and I hate to say it Duke might make it out of the West.

East:

Why Isn't Anyone Talking About Baylor?

The Bears come in as the defending champions, and nobody respects them. I think they are locked into the second weekend, but UCLA could push them to the limit in the round of sixteen.

Indiana Will Beat St.Mary's

I like Indiana in this spot! Every year one of these play-in teams seems to win at least a first-round game. They may even be favoured to win.

Horns UP!

Everyone will be on Va Tech after their ACC Tournament win. I think Texas smokes them and then slows down Purdue's offence enough to score on the Boilermaker's horrid defence. Gimme Texas dancing into the second weekend!

Kentucky Is Elite!

I think the Wild Cats run train all the way to the Final Four! I think the loss to Tennessee is the best thing for this group. They were running a little high, and hopefully, that knocked them down a notch or two and restored the hunger you need to win the big-time games.
