The Buffalo Sabres Are In Shambles

The Buffalo Sabres have not won a game since February 23rd. They’re riding a 17-game losing streak, which is the worst in NHL history. The Sabres are my team and it’s only fitting that I tell the world how bad they truly are this season.

The Sabres have won only six games all year and they’ve been shut out seven times. That’s horrendous and a terrible show of the offensive explosion they are capable of.

The only way I can describe my pain as a Sabres fan after all of this is through song:

Every year, I convince myself they’re going to be good but they always pull this crap of going on an extended losing streak or losing a key player to injury or some other various bullshit. Generally speaking, being a Sabres fan keeps me in some state of purgatory. It’s a never-ending cycle.

Is it too much to ask for the Sabres to be good while the Bills are good? Is one decent sports organization too many for little ol’ Buffalo? The #billsfamia are one of the greatest fan bases in the nation, and they deserve a great hockey team

As you can tell, I don't have a lot of hope for the Sabres this year. But a wise man once told me, “There’s always next year.”

The Sabres latest antics include blowing a three goal lead to the Philadelphia Flyers in the third period falling 4-3 at the final buzzer. Let me repeat that for emphasis sake: They gave up four unanswered goals in 20 minutes of play… Awful.

In summary, it’s a LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLost cause for the season.
