Super Bowl 56 Betting Guide: Rams v Bengals (+4)

It's finally here, the betting man's Christmas morning. Super Bowl LVI is bound to be incredible with the Rams and Bengals on a collision course towards greatness. Will it be Matthew Stafford who got buried in Detroit for thirteen years until Sean McVay traded a haul to acquire him last Summer for this exact moment? Or will it be Joe Burrow, the kid from Ohio who just two years ago was throwing touchdowns at LSU on their way to a National Championship? Let's take a closer look to uncover some of these Super Bowl LVI answers.

We start with the full game preview Rams are favored by four points, and the over-under is sitting at forty-nine. Let's start with the spread fifty-nine percent of the bets and seventy-three percent of the money are behind the Rams. I think this is fucking ridiculous! This line should be no more than a field goal. Many people do not believe in Joe Burrow and the Bengals for reasons I will never understand. I picked the Bengals in the AFC Championship game, and I'm going to ride them to a Super Bowl victory.

Next, we look at the total sitting at forty-nine; my first thought was this seems a little high. As I looked deeper, eighty percent of the money is backing the under with only thirty-eight percent of the bets. This shows a sharp edge towards the under. Also, the Bengal's three playoff games have all been under, and the Rams, on the other side, have had two under's and one over hit in their playoff run. I'm going to lean heavily towards the under of forty-nine.

Another full game bet I like is the Rams winning at halftime and the Bengals winning the Super Bowl. I think this game will start slow since these two defences are so stout. This would be in favour of us having a close game around halftime and maybe even the Rams leading. Then in the second, Joe Burrow will have a chance to work his second-half magic as he did in the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs.
