NCAA BB

Arkansas @ Georgia (+10.5)

The first game we are looking at tonight is in the SEC between the Razorback and the Bulldogs. Yes, I know you are thinking "Georgia sucks," but the Dawgs keep games pretty tight at home if you look a little closer. In fact, in the Bulldog's last eight home games, six of them finished within a 10.5 point margin. On the other side, Arkansas is starting to play well, and it looks like the team people were talking about in the preseason. With that said, the Razorbacks have not gone on the road and won by double digits all year. Numbers-wise, 85% of the bets are on Arkansas, receiving just 60% of the money. This shows a slightly sharp edge towards Georgia.

Pick: Georgia +10.5 (2 Units)

Drake @ Indiana St. (+4)

Drake is coming off their biggest win of the year against Loyola Chicago (77-68) on Saturday. This line looks like the most significant “rat line” of the night, but I think Drake keeps it rolling as one slip up the rest of the season can destroy an at-large bid for this mid-major powerhouse. Numbers-wise, all the money is on Drake, with over 80% of the bets following along. I'm taking the cheese; slam that ratline.

Pick: Drake -4 (1 Unit)

NHL

Seattle @ NYI (-180)

Both teams are coming off back to backs which would usually favour the home team, but this is a unique situation with the All-Star break approaching. The Islanders are an older team that has done nothing but underachieve all year. Seattle is a young, hungry team that is simply a pain in the ass to play for the rest of the league. I think the veteran Islanders team have already booked their plane tickets down south for the break and are going to get rolled tonight.

Pick: Seattle +170 (1 Unit)

NHL Parlay

  • Minnesota @ Chicago (+140)

  • Calgary @ Arizona (+230)

This is pretty straightforward. Calgary is way better than Arizona, and Minnesota is way better than Chicago. It is incredibly chalky, and I wouldn't say I like doing it, but the Flames and Wild are both fighting for the playoffs and need to go into the break on a high note.

Pick: Minnesota ML & Calgary ML +120 (2 Units)
