Giannis HAS To Lead The Bucks To Victory Tonight
The Eastern Conference semifinals is proving to be an all out war. We have Game 7 between the Sixers and the Hawks tomorrow and a must watch Game 7 between the Bucks and Nets today. The Bucks should have already won the series in my opinion, but a collapse in Game 5 and Kevin Durant having an all world performance has allowed a Game 7 to fall right into our laps. It should be a great game because both teams have their seasons on the line. The question is who needs to win more.
A month ago, if you had asked me this question, I would have said the Nets without hesitation because they were the outright favorites (They still are in some people’s eyes, but I personally would lean towards the Suns unless Kawhi returns for the Clippers). Now, that is not the clear case with Kyrie Irving being injured with an ankle injury. If the Nets were at full strength and lost, then the ridicule would be ALMOST as bad as when Durant went to the Warriors in 2016. However, with the Nets not at full strength, they will still get ridiculed if they lose, but it won’t be as bad cause most people will see that they had some injuries.
However, if the Bucks lose, this will be a terrible look, especially for Giannis. They should have already won the series in my eyes, so if they lose, then they will be seen as chokers again. He’s already being clowned for how long he takes to shoot free throws, but if he loses to KD, then it won’t be good.
He won back to back MVPs and a defensive player of the year. He needs to be in KD’s grill the whole game and he has to tell his coach Mike Budenholzer that he wants to guard KD the whole game. Giannis has to be the best player on the floor and if he is, the Bucks should win this game and Giannis will look really good outplaying KD. Not to mention that Budenholzer is coaching to keep his job because if they lose, then there’s a high chance he will be fired.
It should be a great game tonight. Everyone says Game 7 is the best two words in all of sports. Let’s hope that we get a hell of a game tonight.
