Coach Orgeron is out at LSU thanks to his incessant horniness

In case you haven’t heard by now, Ed Orgeron, the head coach of LSU Football, and the university have reached a separation agreement in which Orgeron will not return following the end of the 2021 season. In other words, Coach O got canned.
This is one of the most unexpected, swift downfalls in recent college football history. Less than two years ago Coach O was at the helm leading arguably the greatest college football team of all time to a perfect 15-0 season and a Nation Championship. Fast forward to 2021 and the Tigers are a whopping 9-8 since lifting the trophy.
Granted, growing pains are expected when losing generational talents like Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, and Ja’Marr Chase, but there is really no excuse for a program of this size to fall off a cliff after such an iconic season. This is LSU we’re talking about. With or without Burrow and the other guys mentioned, the Tigers consistently pull in top recruits and always have guys in the early-round NFL Draft discussion.
So what went wrong for the Tigers, and what went wrong for Coach O?
The answer is far more complicated than you would think. Whether you want to call it a mid-life crisis on Coach O’s end or simply a long string of poor communication between administration and employer, whatever it is; it’s a mess.
It’s hard to say exactly where this downfall began, but the majority of fingers point to Coach O’s divorce with his wife Kelly shortly following the Tiger’s national championship win.
There were reports of chair throwing incidents in closed-door meetings, he lost the locker room after making multiple public statements about how great Donald Trump is, and worst of all he has been distracted by, well, women.
Coach O has been chasing tail non-stop since his divorce. In 2020, there was a photo that leaked and went relatively viral of Coach O in bed with a much, much younger woman. Now everything was completely consensual and legal, but it’s still just weird. Even weirder if I was an LSU football player seeing my coach partake in these shenanigans.
One of the biggest turning points in Coach O’s relationship with the university also stemmed from his incessant hornyness. At a gas station just off campus, Coach O was flirting with a pregnant woman in the checkout line and she responded by saying she is both pregnant and married. Hysterically, Coach O responded “What does that matter?”
Now this may seem like an everyday weirdo flirting in a gas-station type situation, but the woman turned out to be the wife of a highly ranking LSU official who was NOT happy about the incident.
Coach O didn’t stop there. He would go as far to bring a new girl around the practice facility once every few weeks or so. Some reports claim that Orgeron was letting the women bring their children to play on the field and run drills with the players for fun.
What kind of shit is that Ed? You’re running one of the most prestigious college football programs in the country, coming off a historical season beloved by everyone in your home state; and now this?
As funny as this is from a football fan’s point of view, it’s hard to believe this all actually happened. I could have seen Urban Meyer pulling some mid-life crises journeyman type bullshit, but Coach O was the king of Louisiana just 21 months ago. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
What’s next for LSU in 2022? No one knows quite yet, but the vacancy will certainly be one of the hottest commodities of the offseason.
